Good news! Parents’ shortcomings don’t always lead children to psychotherapy.
When I was 11 there was a Christmas pageant at my school. I was signed up to be one of the reindeer. Comet. We were sent home with instructions to dress up as said reindeer. Have antlers at the very least. There were suggestions about how to create them with a headband. I passed these along.
